English: Sherds from Roman samian pottery vessels. Three rim sherds, weight 14.78g, one from a Dr18/31 bowl, another a yellowish, soft fabric, possibly Eastern Gaulish. Four body sherds, weight 12.73g, one a very yellow fabric, probably Eastern Gaulish, others probably Central or Southern Gaulish. Two decorated body sherds, weight 7.15g – one upper body fragment from a fine Southern Gaulish carinated Dr29 bowl with a beaded upper border and scroll decoration, and one very small body fragment with a bit of an ovolo border from a Dr 37 bowl. Total weight 34.66g. Some of the sherds are worn, presumably due to plough damage.
